lol what kind of question would he ask that would get you stopped by the cops? and the feds are probably calling because they see you're applying for work with them. in case you pull some chris dorner stuff they can say, "hey we vetted him the right way."

naw thats not it.  my friend was asking stupid random questions that any normal person wouldnt ask or care to know the answer of but i dont blame him cus this cat usually goes up to random people sometimes to ask them stupid shit.  he just asked the security dude something like what are you work hours and how often is security here

i know the dude was racial profiling because as the cops stopped us and separated us to search his car, the one cop with me was asking what my friends ethnicity was and what mine was. like that has anything to do with it.  he saw two brown middle eastern looking dudes

the funny part is when i told the cop that my homie already got accepted to three tier 2 lawschools.  cop had a suprised look on his face and we started talking abut the nfl play offs.  we were both rooting for new england to lose the last game of the regular season

How do you have so many run ins with the police? I only have been pulled over once in 5 years and didn't get a full car search.

I grew up in the white suburbs and had a bunch of run ins too. In the city they pick on minorities. In the 'burbs they pick on teenagers.

the first time i was pulled over was in the city by these 4 white cops in an unmarked suv.  there was a captain, old white cop, who stuck his hand through the window and rummaged through my glove compartment. i had a lot of neatly organized papers. the rest of the car was spotless so they gave up immediately. they pulled me over right before i got on the bridge so they were able to call this brown-muslim guy to talk to me. he pulled me away from them tried to get me to say i was drinking/high or had drugs in the car.

"come on brother, these white cops want to lock you up i can help you out." yeah okay, like i trust you because your brown and your last name is mohamed. fucking asshole. after 15 minutes of him asking me the same old questions and me telling him no he finally gave up. they computers were down so they couldn't properly run my name and let me go.

is that impressive in america? lol if someone over here got stopped by the police and they started talking about being accepted to a "rank40 law course", the cops would probably think you are on drugs.

one time i was busted in a police raid and one of the cops was an iraqi and when he heard i was in the army he was talking mad mad mad shit about "what you wanna kill my people" blah blah blah.  3 years later i was in iraq killing his people.  circle of life.

i suppose its incredibly easy to get into law school over there.  its pretty hard here.  sorry for your confusion.

seriously dude i know you want to continue your snobby tone in these forums but is it really that difficult for you to understand why someone being in law school would throw a cop off on a routine detaining.  i mean its not hard to figure out why.  either dude realizes that the person he's fucking with is someone who knows a little bit about their rights or might be impressed because the vast majority of civilians they interact with are uneducated criminals.  youre smarter than this aaron

it depends on the cop. they probably realized it was a bullshit stop and wanted to kill time or were actually impressed. policing is a boring job.

some cops are uneducated and insecure so when you bring up education you're chances of getting arrested might increase. i never tell cops i 'know the law' or try to do something that would insult their intelligence because i don't want to be held up. unless of course we're in a crowded place with lots of cameras. then i'm going to give you a hard time.

no, just 'going to law school' isn't something that makes you a god-tier intellect or person 'above the law' over here. it would be considered pretty weird for anyone to talk about their profession/training when questioned by a cop. it's not a big deal here. maybe in america where the cops are dumb and racist and assume every brown person is a crack-dealer or a street-sweeper. over here talking to the police about your 'credentials' would make them raise a very suspicious eyebrow. perhaps it's a difference in culture/sensibility. you just wouldn't do that here.

and no, law schools are quite tough to get into. though we don't hold up law school or business school grads as PHILOSOPHER KINGS like you do in america. that's a cultural difference: postgrad at harvard-yale is like the 'big' thing in america, and subsequently your entire political class largely derives from your legal profession/legal class. in the UK, law isn't really the same thing. most of our political class doesn't come from law, in fact, nor business, so neither have the same 'kudos' as they do in america. that's why it would be weird here to make a big deal out of the fact you got into some second-tier law school. it would be weird here for an oxford jurisprudence grad to mention it a policeman who stopped him. it seems like an outwardly wise-ass thing to do. not very british.
