not liking terrible syndicated cartoons which are dragged out for 10 years past their sell-by/relevancy date hardly makes me a fusty old antiquarian. the simpsons just isn't funny. it's stale and shitty. like the embarrassing uncle who shows up to family get-togethers and insists on being the resident comedian. if simpsons is your definition of the "zeitgeist" then i'm afraid you're stuck in the low culture horror of the 90's. it's 2013. keep up.
