I think dilbert at least was minimizing history here, in making a separation between the treatment of indigenous Americans and the treatment of African slaves in terms of slaveries. I don't think he saw my reply, but Europeans were exporting indians (yes, both kinds; see jahaji history) to the Caribbean for slave labor in significant numbers.
Not to mention, Australia's slave workers existed shockingly late into history, sourced from indigenous people and imported from the South Pacific. Sometimes as a result to supply issues from countries *ahem* elsewhere in the world, abolishing their slavery. How late into the 20th century did you guys make Aborigines (young and old) work the ranches, Dilbert? How many people will die waiting for their stolen wages?dilbs wrote:
