Stop posting.
Drought requires a dam to remain as full as possible.

Floods require a dam to be empty in the event of flooding.

Australia has extremes in weather conditions. Recent floods are a tell-tale sign. Other parts of the country have been in drought. It's a hare-brained scheme by the LNP.
The greater the extremes, the bigger you build the reservoir. You aim to keep it 1/2 to 2/3 full. It's not rocket science.

Hoover cost $821M to build in todays money, so maybe. No way in America, but maybe in Australia. If we tried building something like that today it would probably cost 50BN because of all the graft, cost overruns, overtime etc. Construction firms milk government contracts for every penny they can get away with.

Lady friend never had lobster before. I picked up two fully prepared from the a local Spaniard restaurant for only $36.

Of all things to mock someone for, how is it possible to mock someone for being successful with a straight face? We know your life is shit Mac, stop obsessing over me. It doesn't make you look like any less of a creepy little fuck that no one on this forum ever wants to meet in person.

Seriously, here's what you've been trying to mock me about:

1) teehee, Jay and his wife make about a quarter million dollars a year. what a loser that guy is.
2) teehee, Jay bought a macbook a year and a half ago (and wrote exactly one post about it) and it's been one of the best purchases of his adult life teehee.
3) teehee, Jay was happy last summer because friends of his wanted to invite him to their yacht club so they could spend more time with him. teehee, so horrible having friends.

Every time you post about the above I just smile. You're such a miserable little piece of brown shit that mocking other peoples happiness is the only thing that gets you through the day. See a shrink dude.

Nobody mocks you for being successful. You get mocked for having you're head up your ass about being a little successful. It's the head up the ass part.

lobster is historically a food that was only given to prison inmates 2 days a week, because it was considered cruel.

it was also cheaper than almost all meat sourced from land animals.

I don't have my head up my ass about any of it.

I bought a macbook because I wanted a laptop the size of a netbook with the power of a full sized laptop. Sure, I paid triple what I could've gotten a lenovo for but it's been one of the best purchases I've ever made. I've had zero problems with it since I bought it.

I get mocked because I mentioned that I got invited to a yacht club last year. So what? I've been sailing since I was a little kid. I used to go to sailing camp every summer from the age of eight through thirteen. People act like I want to hang out with Biff and his draped sweater while sipping champagne and eating caviar off of the heads of poor people. I want a future place to keep a 30 foot sailboat and hang out with friends and it was turned into this stupid mockable thing. Whatever.

Y'all act like all I think about is money. I don't give a fuck about status symbols or money, and that's the whole point. I wanted a job that paid enough so that I wouldn't have to worry about it. I can go to dinner on Valentine's Day now and not worry about how many days of waiting tables it will require to pay for it. That's nice, and all I wanted. Whatever, carry on.

Sure buddy.

I don't think that's too shabby for being 30 years old, and it's a lot more money than we spend every month, so we's happy

I do love this macbook though, just wish I didn't have to partition the hard drive to run SolidWorks and MatLab

People don't like to be argued with. Shrug, comes with the territory.

Yep, anybody that has a degree and has dedicated themselves to the career should be able to do this.

Yes, that you argue with people make them think this of you...

To me it's a lot of money, and that's all that matters. I don't go around comparing myself to other people all day.

yes you do. that's precisely what you do.

it's basically this self-oblique mentality: nur nur i'm more successful than you, you're just jelly to macbeth. but then ohh, i don't compare myself to other people! when it's put in a more modest perspective. it's funny.

If I cared about shit like that I'd be driving a BMW and wearing custom tailored suits and handmade Italian leather shoes etc.

I think you are both kinda creepy for continuing this odd little rivalry.

Either one of you could just choose to drop it and it would wither and die, but you both feed it like a stray cat that won't go away.
