I don't know if anyone else has run into this but sometimes, after I shoot someone with the grenade launcher, I'll get the whole animation thing of the reload, and then 1 sec after it's done, it'll go into reload mode again. I tend to be a rather aggressive player, meaning I just rush foward like there's no tomorrow taking out whatever is in my path. When this happens, I get pretty mad because I was probably taking cover while reloading and then I pop out like an idiot waving my re-reloading gun.

I think it's happened with other weapons as well, but not as much as with the Assault Kit. I'm guessing it's some sort of a bug... but conspiracy theory tells me EA put this in to throttle noob-cannon frenzies a bit hehe.

Another thing I've had happen a lot is when I'm sniping, sometimes I'll shoot, reload, and then when I right click to zoom in again, nothing happens. I'll then right click again to zoom in but what happens is I'll zoom in and immediatelly zoom out as if I had double clicked. I think this only happens when I try to zoom in too quickly though. Any thoughts?

And then my last favorite bug is getting stuck in a squad after a round ends. I can't leave the squad, yet I'm not in the squad either. Like it says I'm in squad, but I can't spawn on my commander. And if he checks the squad list it says I'm not on it. OH wel, just my daily ranting.

yeah...thats happened to me with all weapons...it gets kind of annoying when ur trying to relooad in the middle of a bunny hop session

the sniper zoom thing happens to me too.  ive had the reload animation glitch happen a few times, but when its happened to me, its been exactly that, an animation glitch.  i found i could still fire even though it was going through the reloading motion.  every once in a while with the sniper rifle though, when i reach the end of the magazine, itll reload...but show i have no bullets in the new clip...so i go to shoot again and when i click to fire, it just reloads again.  kind of a pain.

All of it is happening with greater frequency as of late.  One thing that will screw up the 203/Gp30 reload is jumping off of something or jumping period in the middle of a reload. The graphic shows you going thru the motions but when you try to shoot, nothing happens. Annoying as hell.
The sniper zoom ALWAYS happens at super critical moments. Like getting that second shot in for the kill and you involuntarily zoom out and by the time you re-zoom, he or she is gone. Now THAT pisses me off.

Yep. Got that. Using the DAO-12 often, and every now and then I will reload after exhausting the 12 rounds and it will reload as usual. After the 12 rounds are in it says she's all fully loaded but continues to load more shells in the cylinder !

Glad to here it's not just me with that problem.

oh yeah i forgot about the DAO12.  its a shame that thing cant hold like 24 shells...because that reloading glitch happens about 25% of the time i try to reload.

Arghh, it's annoying as crap when it happens. I've come across another simliar bug though, sometimes I'll try to quickly jump into a car. press f2 to move to main gunner seat, and move mouse really quickly in direction of the enemy. I think I might be overwhelming the game or something because whenever I do that, I'll get in but immediatelly get out on the other side. Confusing as crap, and guarantees I'm gonna be dead.

That reload thing happens for a reason. for instance, you might get grazed by a bullet, you might hit some object while running out of hiding ect. It's not a bug. I believe I remember even reading a statement about that from DICE or EA.

Show me that link and I will determine what they mean. I'm sorry, but I don't buy that.

it has to be a glitch though because wonce i think i reloaded the anti tank rocket about 7 times before it finally loaded and i was not under fire o anything....another thing i find stupid is when reloading the rocket wonce u drop the old one u change weapon then back and its not reloaded and the old one is back but still on the floor i think thats kind of stupid!

It would be cool if the launcher would get jammed every once in while and blow the user to bits. That would be a sight. Strike at Karkand would look like a killer session of Dig Dug... Little dudes getting blown up left and right for no reason.

I do cope and compensate. I play on foot and have a pretty healthy K/D ratio. And yes I do play on those tube infested maps (Karkand and Sharqi).

Congratulations to you for using quite possibly the lamest weapon in the game. I wouldn't be proud of it.

I noob-tube my way thru karkand sometimes, and I feel guilty doing so when I rape too much. I wouldn't mind if the gun would jam every once in a while or even explode randomly, it would make things more real and probably more of a challenge to use it.

Here's a tip I find useful, jump whenever you're getting noob-tubed. You reduce damage enough to land and take out the bugger assuming you are good enough. Once you learn to deal with them, it's not that big of a problem anymore.

my only real problem with it is when you turn a corner, theres a guy right there, you get like two shots off and he nubs you in the face...yet somehow he comes out unhurt from three feet away.

Honestly, it doesn't sound like you have figured it out. Wouldn't be proud of it?  Well, it works wonders against stupid people, vehicles and hovering helos.

I don't use it on all maps, just where it works best.

I don't mind getting "whacked" by it. As long as it is a legitimate whack, when I am doing something "stupid" like lying next to a wall for some inexplicable reason. But, I don't consider turning a corner and laying lead into some guy from 5 ft. away, then dying instantly with out warning a legitimate whack. That's all.

I'll give you your due. You're an accomplished player tube or not! I'm not trying to put you down.

I love killing with the M203. Why ?

Because of you little whinny babies that say the M203 is a wimps weapon. I love smoking all you little children and watching you say " You stupid #$%^&* ! "

It makes my 50 $ spend on this game worth it. Killing video games are fun. Killing people in video games that whine about every little thing... it keeps me coming back. Take your M203 round and respawn.

I eat those rounds as much as anyone else. I retaliate by killing the guy. So... to everyone of you that complains, eat it kid !

I have only gotten the glich with the M95 and DAO-12.

I have had all the above happen,   Trapped in a squad, Double or Triple Reloads, Sniper scope clicking fucked.


I also have problems when switching from planted C4 to Little Red Button.


Hope new patch/BF2SF will fix this!!!!!

I have never once typed or said anything to anyone who has killed me with M203. Because you're right it is a part of the game. But everyone gripes about every game. Quake it was the camping rail gun. COD it was something else, and so on, and so on.

I'm the first to go back and get that guy. I don't let tubers get away with out a fight. I may get owned now and then. But, I know when to admit defeat and back off. There is always someone better than you.

Well thank you. I appreciate that. I get my fair share of getting nailed by other tubers as well. One of the best things you can do is go prone if you do see one and you know he's seen you. I normally aim for torso and not feet. Going prone has screwed it up for me on several occasions. You can gaurantee that I'll hit the wall you are next to, if you happen to be around one. It may kill you, but if it doesn't you sure are messed up.

I havnt had this happen often. In BFV I would have two Grenades fly out of the " XM203 " ? sometimes that was cool.

It happens with me and the sniper rifle.  I zoom in and then it zooms out and then re-zooms back in.  Too funny
