Can't we all chip in and rent a big billboard in 2142 that says "FIX BF2 NOW!" or "EA sucks".

Its EAs game let them do what they want, if it sux don't buy it. When something better comes along they may have to hustle.
A game set in the year 2142 with advertisements from the year 2006? Sounds like a joke to me. Fair enough, in a game set in current times. In fact, more power to having it in games set in current times. Makes things seems realistic, gives immersion. I just don't want to see a "Drink Coca Cola" when there is Walking Tanks and laser beams flying around. It would look ridiculous.
They don't even have a fucking clue that they are making a game set in the future.

There will be no Coca Cola in the year 2142? How would you know?Mekstizzle wrote:

You have NO IDEA what the ads will even say. For all we know, the ads might even play along with the 2142 idea, and have futuristic themes, like Ford hover cars or something.
It seems to me like you just don't like the game 2142.... you say that it wouldn't look ridiculous in modern combat games, but it WOULD in futurisitc games (which, btw, don't have lasers and takes place on Earth, and has no aliens)... hmm, yep, it's gotta be the game. Coca Cola's been around for a century, why not 3?
