Which BF2 / SF vehicles have you seen in real life?

So which vehicles have you seen out of a military base?

I'll start....

When I was around 16 & visiting my dads apartment...I heard a F-18 shriek..I look up...and I see the F-18 do a barrel roll.

Course now I see F-18's all the time cause my school is located near Miramar.

Today while I was painting my house...I heard a really loud helicopter...I look towards my right..and about a mile away I saw an AH-1 Cobra heading towards the ocean...either the Z or the W version. It looked exactly like the BF2 USMC cobra. I didnt know cobras were loud as hell.

Yeah I live in Southern California - LA county...so you dont see this stuff too often.

I live next to Patrick Air Force Base in Melbourne, Florida, so I see a variety of different planes and choppers. I haven't seen many I've recognized but I have seen a few harriers.

ive seen some M1 abrams, f16's (on ground and in flight) and your totally right about the cobras. i was taking some time off in catilina island (you probably know where that is) and i hear a helluva loud chopper. i swear it was coming straight for me. so i look, and i cant see anything. a couple seconds later, it finally comes into view and it was sooo loud it was only about 300 feeet above my boat so everything shook, it was awesome.

I see modified versions of the Black Hawk, I think it's called the Seahawk, every once in a while during hurricane season. But those are Coast Guard, not Marines or Army. While I was in NC at camp I once saw a Cobra flying 400-500 feet above us. That was cool.

The old cobras only had 2 rotors thats why they make such load noise. If you look at the comache which got canceled it was going te a stealth chopper so to reduce noise they had like 7 blades or something.

I havent seen anything apart from a couple F18's flying around New York post 9/11.

I was in the Army for 8 years and deployed around the world so I have unfortunately seen most everything on BF2, except maybe some of the foreign vehicles. Coolest thing ever is seeing about 10 Apaches flying wing to wing out on a tank searching mission in the dessert.

well, being in the army i do get to see a lot of this stuff up close. Definitely seen the Abrams and hummers. um, i've seen an A10 once do a flyover at about 500 feet. talk about loud. i see and ride in black hawks ALL THE TIME. i saw a couple F18s doing maneuvers overhead when i was driving on the highway around Atlanta. ive seen the Stryker up close which is pretty much the same as the LAV25 and i've been in a Bradley once. ive fired the M4, M16, M249, and .50 Cal. thats about all.

Awww i live in Long Beach so i kind live near Edwards Air Force base like 1 and half away or 2 and Ive seen Stealth Fighter f-16 f-18 Cobra Black Hawk f-35 and alot others oh also m1 abrams

its called the Jayhawk HH-60J thats the coast guard version

ive seen a f-18, blackhawk, hmmwv, f-15, the go carts W/o the guns (mostly at airshows)

Some F-18s, F-15s, Blackhawks, Seahawks, but coolest thing I saw was two Chinooks (sp?) flying together, one was carrying a Hummvee on the cargo pad and the other was carrying an ary peice. That was in NC, fuckin awesome.

ive seen chinooks also fly over my house and apaches fly over my house my sister thought we were under atack once lol..ive seen atvs also f-16's umm forklifts

My father served in the Gulf war & iraqi freedom. He Flew the F-15. So he was allowed to take me to the base sometimes here in the USA (only 3 times total), I got to know alot of the pilots...long story short...I got to look inside the cockpit and look around, of course i couldnt sit inside, but he opened the cockpit and let me glimpse in and see all the knobs and buttons and what not.....he retired recently after serving his tour in 2003. Of course the plane wasnt armed, but I caught a quick glimpse of a 500 pound laser guided missle...there not that big, but very long. Some mechanics were doing some work on it when I saw the missle.

Btw it was the F-15 fighter, not the F-15E..the E's for bomber. But there differences exterior wise are limited..so its hard to distinguise the fighter from the bomber version.

My father still keeps in contact with the guys he flew with.

I guarantee here that noone in all of BF2 touched a J-10 or WZ-10 in real life, if they say they have, they are probably Bsing or is really high ranked AND have security clearance within the PLA.
They might of seen it do a fly over the Chengdu Airfoce Base but thats about it, rarely

I think I seen all the USMC stuff including the F-35B (PM me and I'll send you the pictures)
