Hey, Im downloading "videos", in a .AVI format, and everytime i try to preview my downlload MP10 give me the "This format can not be displayed" or whatever, and when i look it says that it plays .AVI's so whats up?
VCL media player in the files here on BF2s...nothing better for .avi
depends on what codec of AVI it is using. ie,.. DivX, H264m etc...

I also have a lot of experience from downloading .avi files, and it seems most of them don't work unless they are 100% done.
id recomend downloading sld codec pack

download the latest codecs from microsoft get WMP 11 while your at it . all my videos work fine

Use Media Player Classic for videos (comes with the k-lite codec pack)

Well, I guess you just can't preview AVI videos, ebcause now it works after i finished downloading it
Download VLC for fucks sake. Im sick of having to repeat this on every forum I use when guys dont know why their files dont work.
VLC does not need codecs (except in a few minor minor codecs, but I dont think it can even load codecs anyway).
So get it.
Plus, it'll do the best audio/video encoding/converting as well, save internet streams and all that bullshit that everyone always asks about.
