Well here it goes. I don't consider myself a noob or an expert, but damn those experts know wtf their doing. I just have a few questions for all the others out there. Is it me or is there really a bunch of BS that goes on while playing online? For instance. I was a medic with full health using the rifle (not the unlocked one) and I snuck up on someone laying down. Now this gun when you shoot once it unloads 3 bullets. Well anyway I shot this person 3 times (3 clicks of the mouse so 9 shots) in the head (the shot indicator came on the whole time) and this mo fo did not die and shot me once and I die. Now can someone explain this to me? Another big thing, when I'm running like hell from an APC and I get shot once and I'm dead. With me behind the wheel of an APC it takes 3 or 4 shots (with the shot indicator showing up each shot) THEN they die. I get so pissed sometimes but yet I still play because I'm addicted. One last thing, don't bitch and moan for me punishing for TK's cuz I'm tired of being punished for BS shit. I ONLY forgive if I know it was not meant to be...I'm sure your like ya right but I'm serious. I'm to the point where I may never forgive. Ne way. I wanna know if any other Bull SHIT like this happens to you.

I forgive clan mates only, except when they intentionally tk.
The best is when I'm gunning the the helo and there's one or two lone soldiers trying to cap a fully defended base. I see like 4 enemies run after them and open fire, killing everyone, even the teammates and I'm punished for them both. They should freaking realize that I was trying to protect them, and that 2 against 4+ guys is a bad idea... usually.

I forgive TKs if I deserved it (running in front of a moving jeep, if you are lagging for example) or if the person apologises and it was genuinely an accident. I don't agree with dhoar4's post with how he punishes everything, as some TKs are the victim's fault (see my example for referance). Forgive and forget is my tactic (unless the TK was really ridiculous)
Punishing for a TK does not cause you to get -4 instead of -2. The punish is only used to auto-kick someone that gets too many TK's. Thats at least what I have read about the TK system. If you get -4 it is because you did team vehicle damage also.
I forgive unless its blatant stupidity, like repeatedly nading a flag your own team is trying to cap. As for the 9 shots to the one guy, he could be a hacker, but more than likely you just wounded the hell out of him and he got ya with a head shot. There has been a few times when I tried to kill someone and got killed and typed "nice hack asshole" which in the end, makes yourself look like an asshole. And the APC was probably bouncing shot all around you, and when the one round got ya, it got you good.
One other thing. TK PUNISH does not affect your score from what I understand, I could be wrong, like its a server option. But ive killed my friends while we were playing together on accident (them bailing out of a moving car and I ran him over), and he forgave (it even showed up on the top of the screen "bla bla bla forgives blah blah for a teamkill") but still got the -4.

yeah i was wondering how ppl got those one hit kills with APC and i finally got one today. you have to hit them dead on. this spec op guy got out of a APC i was dueling cause it was about to blow. so i backed up and his torso was perfectly lined up as i did and one hit killed him. As for that 9 hit thing that happens alot to me and my friends. I just notice it happens alot with the first medic unlock, whats it called. I litteraly hit a guy with half the clip and he doesnt die.
err no you get - 4 for a TK, simple as that, if you hurt them then kill them u get -6. and punishing has no effect on scores, as said its simply for the auto kick system.JG1567JG wrote:

son, what you need to do is fly a chopper 24/7/365 and then UCB base rape. you will have an awesome K ratio, and that's all that counts, really.

As stated earlier in this thread, one direct hit from the APC will kill you, though it may be pretty hard to do that, particularly at moving targets and /or moving yourself.capt. crunch wrote:

The reason is takes 3-4 shots for you, is that you probably hit the ground or some other obstacle near them, but the area effect still hit them.
Lol I dive bombed my commander by accident but it was in order to save a flag from a tank, he forgave which was nice too bad he sucked at commanding though.
Another thing I forgot to ask. At Karkand, how do peeps get on top of the roof at the factory?

I've had that happen to me before too, and I almost started bitchin about it, but instead i got pissed, found the dude that i previously unloaded a full clip into his head, and tried again, and this time he died (i was glad i didn't complain about him being a hack!). I think ping sometimes has a lot to do with someone not dying. And for the apcs, 2-3 shots at the soldiers feet will kill them, or 1 direct hit anywhere on their body does it too.

BF2 has lost its flare and you should try out POE2, it feels so much better, plays so much better and kicks BF2 in the no-no's. Try that out and your BF2 experience will change, I guarantee it.
i agree with the APC part and the 1000000 bullets to enemy registering everytime as a hit and they turn and tank one shot to u with DAO from 100 yrds away....but the apc things is rediculous.....i'll be a good 10 feet down an ally runnun from and APC that cant see more then 1 foot into the alley because of his can and his APC bullet somehow maneges to turn the corner and hit me in the headcapt. crunch wrote:

i dont know if anyone saw who framed roger rabbit....kinda old...sorta...but if u did then u know the talking cartoon bullets that were alive and could like turn on a dime around a corner.....i feel like APCs have those bullets...expecialy since these things were like 100 cal. bullets (cartoon)
An apc can kill you with one shot, it has to hit you directly.
With your 3 or 4 shot apc kills youre probably hitting the wall behind a enemy dealing some small damage.
