Um actually Age of Empires: Age of Kings and the expansion The Conquerors was the best evaaar. It still is, and I doubt anyone with any experience will disagree...too bad they killed the zone. This game had more longevity than CS

Generals was good, but the best C&C was always Red Alert. Tiberian Sun was average, Red Alert 2 was like a parody of a C&C game.

I hope they don't ever make any more Red Alert games (should have left it at a perfect 1, + 2 kickass expansions [i preferred aftermath])

I hope that C&C3 doesn't suck like C&C2 did.


But seriously, argue over the specific game you liked best and thats all fair enough and difference of opinion. but let no one even try to claim that the best RTS in the past 15 years was made by someone other than Blizzard or Westwood. They defined the genre.

If you were speaking to me, I've participated in many beta tests.  The fact is though, if I can't stand the game itself and have no intention of playing the final, why the hell would I invest my time and effort into it?  Time is precious, I'm not willing to squander it on something that does not interest me.

Perhaps you are just bitter because you didn't get a key?

I'm at least as tired as you are, if not more.
I remember when I first put my hands on the BF2 demo, I couldn't stop playing. Same for the full game. I spent days and nights playing, barely slept or ate... so far, 2142 does not make me wanna do this. I had great expectations. So far, I tend to feel disappointed.

Probably SF's infantry focused fighting spoiled me.

I shall be buying the final release, but I mean honestly, A Bug's Life the movie has less bugs than this.

Yes I  got tired of the choppy-laggy beta. I put in my 50 hours, reported my findings on the beta forum and now am back to good old BF2 ( which hasn't crashed once on me) since new patch 1.4)

This game is a joke. I laugh at the TOOLS that went out and prepaid for it.

Truthfully, I'm glad that they won't be putting out a high quality product, as I would have wasted too many hours on it.

because its bf2 bascially just with a crappy futuristic storyline


ur probably just not that into bf...the game does get old


hopefulyl pt3 will be good, and everyone will be happy
