- Bush: Highlights of last night's MSNBC interview
Hmmm.... looking at the URl..... biased website perhaps?
And quit blaming Bush for katrina, local governments failed, not the white house. i don't like the pres. that much as of late, but it's NO's fault they weren't ready.
Um, the video is the same no matter what site it is hosted at. The bias of the site is irrelevant to the content of the video.Erkut.hv wrote:

Shipbuilder didn't even mention katrina, he said Bush's remarks were interesting.
P.S. The federal government funds some aspects of their preparedness, such as levis.
LMAO Response to "Do you think we fought the wrong war?"
Bush: "Remember, we were attacked first. The war was brought to us."
Interviewer: "But they weren't Iraqis"
Bush: "I know they weren't Iraqis and I agree they weren't Iraqis."
XD Blatent contradiction.

It is most definitely a biased web site. Can you explain why that's relevant in this case?Erkut.hv wrote:

I don't believe anyone is blaming Bush for the existence of the hurricane. It would be ridiculous to blame Presidents for major events happening on their watch. That said, it is valid to question whether the Bush administration could have been better prepared for such an attack. Personally I won't pretend to be an expert on the Katrina fall-out debacle, but given the blame game being played by everyone involved, it would seem as though incompetence was displayed on the municipal, state, and federal level. Without a doubt, it is 100% valid to criticize the administration for its response and policies following the hurricane.Erkut.hv wrote:

Oh please, the local government is responsible for FEMA trailers that are sitting idle when there are people still needing them? The local government is responsible for 50% of the area still without electricity.Erkut.hv wrote:

Brown says in an interview there was lack of help from the Whitehouse, when asked why he sided with the President, he says he was given talking points and to this day it is his biggest regret. Not telling the truth, abiding by party talking points. Last I saw FEMA and the Corps of Engineers are under the Whitehouse correct????
Do we even want to go into contracts without bidding or lack of oversight on those contracts?
