BF2S Forums Who is willing to boycott BF2 till 1.4 and play POE2 instead?

Now, if only they can make it ranked and get rid of all the lag, I will be a happy man. The game does rock!

null. There is a great idea... everyone stop playing bf2 and EA/Dice will decide that the popularity is down so they don't need to release the patch.

Don't get me wrong... I hate the CTD crap but I still love bf2. Some days I can play all day without CTD and if it does happen, It's like once or twice... not that big of a deal.

I havent touched bf2 for atleast a month, the game has gone stale .

hate BF2 maps, all the PLA maps are usless armor/jet/helo whoring maps, they need a city map for PLA so you can actually try out their weapons as oppose to their jets and stuff

People... I voted for the first one, but could please someone send me "PoE 2" via mail so I can play it too seeing that in my ****ing village there is not broadband connections?

Played POE for the first time last night...and It was so good just running around getting on with the game...not thinking about stats or ribbons or medals or time needed in this and that....had a bloody good time...needless to say until 1.4 comes out I dont think I will be playing anything else but POE!!

I voted yes. But EA/Dice don't give a toss about BF2 anymore. They have prity much sold all the BF2 games they are going to sell. Thats been quite obvious for awhile. I played POE once so far. I am not convinced yet.

Don't get me wrong I think EA/Dice have done a great job in bringing us the Game of the year for 2005. I just think we are all up in arms because the bugs are hindering our playablility of our favorite game.

Excuse me, but this is just a stupd idea. Go ahead and play POE and any other mod if you want to. But doing so will put absolutely NO preassure on EA.

Why? Because to play POE you have to use BF2. As long as you are using their software EA could care less if you are using ranked servers or playing a mod. Thousands, if not millions, of people bought the original Half-Life game so they could play Counter Strike. Do you think Valve was sitting in their office fretting over it? Hell no, they couldn't have been happier.

So, go ahead and play BF2, Special Forces, POE or whatever other mod you want to play. EA knows how many people are logging into their accounts to play the game - they really don't care what you are playing. And one of the previous posters brought up a good point. If there are less people playing BF2 or SF, then there is less of an incentive for them to get the patch out.

I share your enthusiasm in trying to encourage EA to get the patch out, but the logic is flawwed. It's like saying "We don't like the way company XYZ conducts business. Let's punish them by buying up all of their product so no one else can"

I would love to see a review from some people who are not Fanatic of PoE.

I heard many "it's an overrated Mod" and i saw for myself a couple of maps...no urban fighting there...

I also heard Jet and chopper are overpowered....humm thanks but no thanks!

Even with the problems (hope the patch will fix them for once) i prefer BF2 Vanilla

not until POE2 is ranked... or has its own ranking system.. which i have read is supposedly possible with the new patch.
