Need help with PoE

Basically when i try 2 run poe i get this error message.....

setup is missing the file PoE2-v1.0.0.0-mappack.cab
please place the missing file in the same location as this installer:
C:\docume~1\Home\LOCALS~1\Temp\Temporary Directory 7 for poe2_client_v1.0.0.zip

help please!

I take it you downloaded the zip file??

What I did was run the cabinet file first and entered password. It then comes up with a blank screen called map pack.

Then ran the installer.

You could try it.

Thank you so much. Everything is working now. Installer running......hopefully ill be able to play soon...thanks again

ok, you extract the mappack to the file listed, then you run the exe thats in that file. i had that same thing.

Ok, i figured it out. go on Internet Explorer or Firefox and copy that location in the address bar. it will take you to a folder. now go to your Zipped PoE and copy the mappack into the folder. now launch the exe already in the folder. Presto!

ok forget that......got another error message.

the installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.
you may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.
it may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch (notrecommended)

help!

all you have to do is unzip the file and make sure that bouth the files you unzipped are "IN THE SAME FOLDER" make a new folder if you have too then run the installer and there you go(((takes a deep breth)))

ok did that.......game ran well.....connected 2 account server but all of the game servers show up in red and i cant play them. what the hell? more help!!!!

Try uninstalling POE totally.

Then restart and try re-installing as I said in previous post. Worth a try ??

If not try downloading again.

Click on second link in first post and make sure you copy the password
