Hi guys just sent this to ea/dice due to the stress and frustrations of continue drop outs and server problems so anyone interested in joining in.

Good Morning playing BF2 is now becomming a joke with the continue drop outs and hassels with servers get the next patch out this week or i will start a legeal action against EA and Dice for the continue frustration and stress this is giving me i know many more players who would join this class action against your companies. so realease 1.4 by tuesday or further action will be taken.

Well I'm pretty sure that was "threatening legal action e-mail number 372,489" that was forwarded to legal.

Suggestions: Never threaten a boycott, never threaten legal action, never piss in the wind, and never pull on Superman's cape. Either do it or don't.

Resolve: Either be patient like most of us or do one of the following; 1) Petition EA/DICE with our concerns {easily done}, 2} Go see a lawyer and ask them to craft a letter on your behalf and inform the lawyer that you have knowledge that there are hundreds of thousands of people with the same concerns {hint - posts in this and other forums can be subpoenaed} - next you will see dollar signs glowing in the eyes of the lawyer {and yes, we have legal cause for a class action lawsuit and more than likely we would all get a discount on our next purchase as part of the settlement and the lawyers would get rich}. A little hint - you can't claim stress or pain and suffering however, you can claim breech of trust among other things.

Kaboom.

I know how you feel buddy but like the guy said you agreed to terms and conditions, i'm not about to go read it all but I could wager EA protected themselfs with some form of small print. Otherwise they wouldnt mind letting us all hav our beloved CTD for the last, three months is it now?

Considering you will have the 1.4 before you get anywhere with your class action, this my friend is pointless.

Class action suit is very viable... Just depends if you want to take the time to do it... So guy decided to file a class action suit against people that patented and distrubited CD's claiming they knew that they would not be read in all players/readers and they did nothing about it... Something along that line anyways...

They ended up winning and everyone that signed the petition stating they bought CD's in the past 5 yrs got like anywhere from $10 - $20... I signed the petition and I got a check in the mail like a month or two later...

Let me make sure that I've understood you.

1. You hate the bugs in the game. They are causing you stress.
2. You believe you can scare EA / DICE into releasing a patch earlier than they intend by threatening legal action.
3. You tell them they can avoid the scary legal action by releasing the patch early.

Is that correct? If so, I just have one question for you.

If EA will be scared by the threat of legal action, why would they not be worried about you sueing them when they release the patch early ensuring that it only makes the game even worse because it is not fully tested and the problems with it corrected? (And for those of you who are going to say it won't fix anything anyway, HE is the one asking for the patch as the "solution").

You really should think these things through properly before you make such a fool of yourself. This goes doubly so if you DID actually send that message to EA. It is badly spelled, with poor grammar and no punctuation. If I was the one to receive that message, the problems I've mentioned would make me assume it came from an 8 year old. Given that assumption, and the fact that an 8 year old wouldn't be able to initiate a lawsuit, I would just delete the message after giving a small chuckle at how pathetic some people can be.

If you don't like the game, don't play it.
