So the infantry it getting a ground only option. I think it would be great o have a air only map. Dog fighting only, that would be to fun. I can see 30 jets just flying and fighting.

Ummm you can't have ONLY jets unless you spawn directly into a jet unless they just made 2 airfields floating in the sky, in which case you would need a jet to get off the airfield.

Personally I think its a good idea but doesnt fit with BF2. As the name of the game says it all: BATTLE FIELD, a online wargame with all the aspects of a battlefield--> infantry, tanks, choppers, etc etc etc
Wouldt it just be a Flight Simulator if theres only planes going all over the place?

I would love to see dueling carriers. Set in the Gulf Of Oman, two ships, two uncap spawns on the deck, 4 aircraft apiece, two choppers apiece, two phallanx each.

Plane whores, like me, wouldnt go there because usually we dont go chasing other planes, We have fun bombing the living shit out of infantry. Plus we get more kills.

I think it might work, but bf2 jets are too fast for massive dogfights, you would need an enormous map
would be way cooler with a map with let's say 10 tanks a side and 6 apc's a side really miss the good old 1942 tank battles were you had loads of tanks just shooting the hell out of each other. it would be really cool to have this on a desert map with no buildings except for a village in the middle and the spawning area.

If you want Air Only...go to vBF2 and turn FF OFF so the infantry can get on buildings with C4..there you have airmaps SF style..
Otherwise why in the hell do you want to ruin SF. Leave your ideas in vBF2.
