I just made a new account to see what kind of SPM and KDR i'm really getting and I gotta say, I never realized how unbalanced this game is for people who don't have the upgraded weapons.

I mean sure you have the AK which does some BS shots all the time. And you also have the best sniper rifles, semi-autos and M24. But the rest of the weapons are the biggest pieces of shit ever.

It was quite hard to land good shots as USMC specially. And anyone with a G36 would kill me immediatelly regardless of how many times I'd hit them. I found myself scavenging for weapons everywhere in hopes of picking up these accurate weapons instead of my BS bb-guns to be able to take on the opposite team.

Don't think I'm gonna be playing much with the new account, it was quite frustrating to be honest.

No. They are not, in some cases standard are better

I think some standard weapons are damn good. Think M16 Ak 101 M117 etc

Ok well the key thing is... try it when your ONLY weapons are the standard ones.

The frustrating part was not being able to switch to more powerful weapons when the whole USMC team assaulted the airfield and everyone had PKM's and G36.

And like I said, there are some excellent standard weapons. The AK's are top notch, the sniper rifles are sweet, and maybe a couple others can be good. But they are simply no match to any of the G36 family, or the G3, or the support weapons.

ah .. not true .. especially for engineer .. jackhammer is powerful but a novelty and the mp7 is probally the worst gun in the game.

How are they terrible?

RPK-74 is bettre than MG36 and PKM
AK101/47 are the best guns i nthe game (if you use them right)
M16A2 is an awesome gun, just as accurate as the g36 but a little weak...more deadly in single shot though
M4 and AK74u are great spec ops guns, SCAR-L sucks.
M11-87 and chinga shotty are best shottys
Really, the only stock guns that lack power are the stock AT weapons and mec/chinga snipers.

rpk-74 mows down entire squads if you hit them from behind. i love the low max deviation... you don't even have to use the sights if you don't feel like it.

The only disadvantage is for the US with the M16 vs the G36E, but other than that it is even, and most vets can beat a guy one on one with the M16 vs G36E.

Stock weapons rock, but some of the unlocks are just better (G36E>M16, L96>M24, DAO-12>stock SMG etc.)

I love the AK-47, FAMAS, HK21, Benelli, QBZ-97, and the Type 88. I enjoy stock weapons, because I feel like the army I'm playing.

The only stock weapon I don't like is the MP-5, it's very weak but otherwise the others are just fine.. the AK-47 kicks ass.

Its just like any other FPS. You have to master each individual weapon. With a little practice you will find they're really not much different from the unlocks you just have to change your playing style slightly for different weapons. E.g. When i use the G36E i can kill people from any range. But if i use the M16 i use the cover of the buildings to get closer to people because it has much worse accuracy but is more powerful.
