Haha, I used the camo for the first time today (picked up someone's kit) and OMG, it's soooo funny to play with! I was on the Titan, a guy fired at me, so I ran around a corner, turned it on, and ran back. He ran past me and around the corner and then I knifed him in the back. XD

When retail comes out, I'll definetly get camo/C7. On the other hand though, I got the engineer AT sniper rifle today and it totally kicks ass too...

No, I will play engineer.
Each member of our clan have their own task, mine is just destroying enemy vehicles and repair our own.

I'm a medic whore in BF2 and therefore like the assault class in 2142 a lot: Firepower + healing + reviving = power- and helpful. I played around with the spec ops unlock tree for the recon class and had some fun with camo+knifing, but I doubt that'll be my main focus. I completely agree with the drawbacks of the recon/camoflage thing mentioned by ThomasMorgan earlier in this thread: you can not reaload, pull out or use any weapon when camoflaged and when moving around or being very close to an enemy, you are indeed visible, at least sort of distortion in the air is.
Beyond that, either support or engineer class has an unlock that helps against the camoflage.
