You guys do know that this is allready calculated on the stats pages in the ranks and more tab! Below the Ranking the first row deals with round medals (stars).
Stat Per Round Per Minute Per Hour Per Day Per Kill Per Death
Gold, Silver, Bronze Stars 0.0544 0.0031 0.1853 0.1802 0.0075 0.0076
just multiply by 100 to get the percentage.
Mine is 5.44% cause I have played sniper the most and I hardly ever get in a attack chopper or a plane, but my KDR for most rounds is now way over what everybody with more points gets. I finnaly broke even on my KDR after a shity start. I am still not great, but I was down over a thousand deaths over kills and I have had a steady increase in most of my stats for the last six months.

you don't have to do complex calculations - just go to the ranks&more page in your bf2s stats
mine says i get a star in 46,7% of my rounds
also interesting is the distribution of your stars(gold - silver - bronze) mine is 900:370:249 - so in nearly 60% of the rounds i get a star it is a gold one - i guess its not too shabby

apparently i have get a medal 50% of the time, quite scary now i think about it ...

At least we had a nice little maths lesson.
About 15%, I usually play on full servers as anti-tank though, not exactly the most point filled kit.

I suspect it will go up, because pretty much every full round lately i get a medal, but when i started out, i wasnt so good. Also I tend to only play a few rounds at a time, so i join in the middle of one, and leave in the middle of another, so that explains for alot of people why its lower.

Not sure on my percentage because i have 2-3 accounts....but over 70%, im definately sure its over 70%.
Played alot of karkand, so I was a top infantry for a while. Im still really good, but not as good as I used to be.

I usualy finish in 4th and its usualy by some stupid reason like the commander beating me by one point or something lame like that.
