G15 LCD screen

Just wandering if any G15 owners have a dual core cpu, i have an AMD x2 4600 and it doesnt show the cpu%, so has any 1 go a x2 and it works or are there any programs to make it work.

Had it not showing the cpu speed for ages but the post about the new core duo reminded me.

i have a 4200X2 and it works i think. It shows it in 50% blocks so im not real sure, has any one had the problem of the media keys not working for winamp whilst in bf2?

I've got a 4200 X2, and the g15 cpu % shows up just fine for both cores... the top & bottom halves of the bar are each tied to one core. so i dunno... do you need a firmware update maybe? heimelich maneuver?

hehe...whats firmware? lol

I have the newest update for it, but nothin on the cpu

As far as i remember there is an own tool by AMD for their CPUs, it even shows clocking etc.

Maybe you should try this, if the original Logitech Plugin doesn't work for you.

Has any one ever had the problem were you are listening to music in Winamp, then when you open BF2 the media keys don't work, the volume still works but the media keys don't. I tried using them in other games and they work fine. Any one have any idea how to fix?

I was thinking of maybe getting a g15, how do you guys like it, is there a real advantage to it or is it more just the bragging rights of saying I got.....?

I would say get one, compared to other keyboards used for gaming its the king, there are so many Apps you can get for the LCD including one for BF2 and there are 18 X 3 g keys which can be set for different games. go for it its a good buy.

umm, can you explain a lil more what you mean by g keys and how they help or work please?

A G Key is a key that you can assign a "Macro" to Macros are sets of keys pushed i.e. i record a macro using the easy macro recorder that Logitec provide to type "r3v4n" the g-key that you set this to will then push those keys in about 1/2 second for you. Picture F2, Rclick, Lclick, bound to G18 so if you go soloing it switch's easily for you. thats what a G Key is. There are 3 sets of 18 G keys and a profiler that activates when you open that .exe file i.e. bf2.

The profiler allows the 3 sets of 18 G keys to be activated to different games i.e. i open bf2 the profiler see that bf2.exe has opened and runs the profile accordingly
