I am reminded of a quote..."Are you taking a s**t? BUSTED!"Kmarion wrote:
BUSTED!!! Fake video for all you gullible enough to believe it.

Jesse Adam Macbeth (born Jesse Adam Al-Zaid,[1] 1984) falsely claimed to be an Army Ranger and veteran of the Iraq War. He lied in alternative media interviews that he and his unit routinely committed war crimes in Iraq.[2][3] Macbeth began to attract significant attention after the release of a video containing his allegations;[4] transcripts of the video were made in English and Arabic.[5] According to the U.S. Army, there is no record of Macbeth being a Ranger,[6][7] or serving in a combat unit: he was discharged from the service after having been declared unfit or unsuitable for the Army, or both,[8] before he could complete basic training.[9]
After his release from the Army in 2004, Macbeth purported himself to be a veteran, telling war stories and garnering attention from mainstream,[10] alternative[11] and student media outlets. He joined Iraq Veterans Against the War in January of 2006,[12] and represented, or was scheduled to represent them publicly at various events throughout the country;[13][14][15] the organization has since said it does not endorse Macbeth or his accounts of military service.[12] Accounts in Macbeth's name appear on Military.com and Myspace.com, and both were used to post claims about military service in Iraq.[16][17
Maybe I can get a job on the Myth busters?

Obviously to make fun of the people who believed him..lolsuperfly_cox wrote:
this guy is obviously a fake. why is this thread still open?
Wait for it...wait for it....your a dumbass, you seriously think that some high level brass said that to him. I would even doubt that some company level officer told him that, probably more around platon level. Id like to thank him for his service to our country but I would also ask him to take his head out of his ass before thinking. He cant seriously belive that the goverment lied to him and that he was told to do those things. The stupidity of people amazes me every day.TheCanadianTerrorist wrote:
Jesse Macbeth talking about his time as a ranger.
This movie is about a war ranger named Jesse Macbeth. He shares his story about his encounters in Iraq, and some of the horrific things he had to do, all because his government lied to him, and told him too.
Edit:
Even though I am not from the country, I still think the guy deserves some respect for his service, just like any soldier in war should. Soldiers in war should also never be forgotten.
Especially since "his" unit was a training battalion, and most likely everyone else from his "unit" has a new unit, or similarly washed out of boot camp like he did.Capt. Foley wrote:
HOLY FUCKING SHIT, after seeing that that guy is a fucking fake all I can say is I wanna rip his fucking head off and feed it to his fucking father that brought that peice of shit into the world. He is discracing American, the military, "his" unit and many other people. Go rot in hell you dumb fucking son of a bitch.

your an idiotTheCanadianTerrorist wrote:
Watch the movie. He clearly states that the government "lied to him and tricked him." He is refering to the fact that he thought he was going to Iraq to change the nation for the better, not to strike fear into the hearts of Iraqis.AlbertWesker[RE] wrote:
I don't know what parts your talking about but the whole "Strike fear in the hearts of Iraqis, and to be brutal and to not feel is somewhat of an old mantra from the military about certain areas and events, but is certainly not SOP. What happened to army values? Some dumb cheesehead Sarge or other NCO or brass is just being retarded. No one in the top brass of the army or marines wants to strike fear in the hearts of Iraqis, I feel sorry for this guy, for being wounded, he has done a great service to our country but I have to respectfully disagree with most of the stuff he is saying.TheCanadianTerrorist wrote:

And just wtf do you mean by "his goverment lied to him" about what???? An NCO lied to him. Cmon, stop speaking out of your ass. Most of the military is not like this.
Edit: And the part where he said "HE felt like he lost part of himself" Show me ONE person who has been in the military serving in a combat zone who DOESN'T feel like they have lost something. He's trying to equate that to his different beliefs. I think this veteran is being exploited by groups like Veterans Against The War and just using him as publicity. His values and beliefs are wonderful but he just ended up with the wrong squad. He's over analyzing things and not looking at the bigger picture.
He isn't a Ranger and never has been a Ranger. It was debunked as a lie, and even before the fact I had real life Army Ranger friends telling me there is no way that guy is or was a Ranger.TheCanadianTerrorist wrote:
