Anyone mind posting some screens of BF2 maxed out?
I run medium-high 4x AA now...and im curious to see how much better it looks.

Couldn't you make it into a jpeg?

It's not so much the graphics i like... it's the distance setting, i see people long before they c me!
i love my GB Graphics card.

The AA is the least important of the settings - everything else makes more difference, but in particular dynamic lighting, textures and terrain/geometry detail - hell, everything except AA...

The thing I always find surprising is just how little difference there is between the various settings levels - the art assets are very good at all levels of detail...

Couldn't you make it into a jpeg?

He probably didn't want to do that because jpeg is lossy - that is, when it compresses an image it does so by leaving some parts out - so the overall quality drops.

The only way to see exactly what he sees when he plays is to leave it uncompressed, or to use a loss-less compression, such .png - actually, Goldman - why didn't you use png? the in-built screen shot function produces both jpegs and pngs!

0_0 wow! i can never run bf2 on any setting other then...low lol. i tried medium once and my fps dropped to about .000001. My rig is like almost 5 years old now and i wont be getting a new one til college (2 more years)
