Was just wondering if there's a way to make USB's power shutdown when I turn off my comp?

Noticed this recently when I got new mouse pad and it's lights stays on even if I turn off my computer and I can't be bothered to every night take the USB-plug off to shut the lights out of it.

What kind of mobo do you have. Some newer ones have the option. You can charge ipods..etc while the computer is off.

Some MSI, is there a way to make it shutdown?
