About half of the time I reboot, Firefox is automatically launched to NVIDIA's SLI Zone website. Anyone know how to disable this?
look at your start up items and disable anything that you cant recodnize. probs you wont need it
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
The only items checked are NvCpl, RunDLL32, CTDetect, and something that's blank but shows up as C:\WINDOWS\pchealth\helpctr\binaries\msconfig.exe in my internet securities program when I try and disable it.
*The only thing I saw somewhat related was nwiz.exe/install. But I disabled that a long time ago. It only launches to slizone.com about half the time though. That's what struck me as odd.

It happens to me when a balloon pops up telling me SLI is disabled and i accidentally click on it to close it. It was a pain in the arse, happens with the new drivers.
I got rid of it by installing the Xtreme-G Nvidia drivers, which increase performance slightly too.

I'm getting the same thing too, something about SLI has been turned off because one of your cards has been removed".-botivix- wrote:

Where can I get this "Xtreme-G Nvidia driver" of which you speak, oh lord?
And on the subject, I talked to a guy at Gainward about drivers and he said not to use the 91.31 driver but download the one from guru3d (or 3dguru), anyone have any experience of this as when you try to install it it says it isn't signed and asks if you want to continue and I'm just a total coward when it comes to stuff like that.
