ok i got speed fan and it says my core is running at about 60*C. i was wondering if there is another program i can use to check the temp? b/c i think this is wrong.

seeing as they all use the same temp chip bus i doubt that a different program will tell you a different temp. maybe try core temp. also check your bios, you might have offsetted the temp

You beat me too it....or search pirate bay....lol just be careful for virus/worms  but just a hint, the extreme 2006 edition is nice

But it is hit or miss, everest reads my CPU temp as my Chipset and my Chipset Temp as my CPU....thats with a Gigabyte board though

I thought speedfan was accurate? It may not be... no idea.

i use speedfan but it says my processor is at around 87 C up to around 95C sometimes so i dont know if its acuratte i am a lazy bastard and havent checked yet
