No Richard Wagner? Shame.
Tchaikovsky has got the news
Tchaikovsky. Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy FTW.
I like Holst's planets
Ye he's great! And Anton Bruckner; the third part (scherzo) in his 7'th symphony in E-("dur", don't know w its called in english). It should be made as backgroundmusic to a BF-movie when helicopters come in from the coast (kinda like Apocalypse Now) . I voted Schubert as my favourite on the list, but Wagner, Bruckner and Johannes Brahms should also be thereCameronPoe wrote:

How about a top 40 remix of a remix? Why remix? Because today's music is fucking unoriginal, uninspired, dumb. No offence.

Honorable mention for not making the list to Johann Strauss II for Die Fledermaus ~ to which the fleder in my nick is partially attributable.

The track "Unsung War" from Ace Combat 5 is the closest I've ever came to crying from listening to a song... Ever.
So he gets my vote with Yasunori Mitsuda a close second... Of course Pachabel's one hit wonder 'Pachabel's Canon' will always be one of my favs.

My favorite modern composer is Eric Whitacre, mosly because his music has good horn parts.
I can't vote. I can't pick just one favorite.
