It was a hard call between Black Sabbath & AC/DC... But AC/DC had the most original sound & style in their time, & for that I picked them.
BTW... I've seen ALL of them in concert except System of a Down. One of the great things about living in Las Vegas!
Note; It was a hard decision, as all of the listed bands are bad ass!

It was a tough choice between Iron maiden and Metallica but i went metallica only because im listening to "eye of the beholder" right as i type this

Maiden. No other band has had the same influence, the same range of styles, and the ability to one-up any other band. Or been able to keep it up so long with such quality.
Metallica hasn't been going for nearly as long.
Sabbath lost momentum.
ACDC ain't even metal.
Megadeth are Metallica spinoffs.
Pantera don't have the legacy.
