BF2S Forums Which class will you specialize in for BF2142?

I´ll let the game come out first .......

recon all the way.. takes me back to the good ole days  of sneaking around and blowing people up with c4 and sniping. I will always love my spec ops.

then again should i get the game its going to be a butt load of recon dudes with cloaking devices. reminds me the good old days of Aliens Versus Predator 2 multiplayer. shoulder mounted plasmacaster armed while cloaking, fire and instant kill. then another fool pops out throw the disc while cloaked and see his corpes sliced into two pieces.

I betcha $10 you'll see a crapload of camo'd Recons that could fill a 20lb baby's diaper.

Engy/assault, though I will play any class which is needed.  Perfect ambush-EMP mine a road and put an AT rifle round up their ass.  From the description of the rifle, "It penetrates armor easily, especially the weak armor at the rear of the tank", it sounds like the rifle will be able to 1-shot tanks from the rear, or at least seriously damage them (by 1-shot, I don't mean an insta-kill, it may just take it to the point at which it will flame to death).  And the rifle rocket will make cover you can crouch behind completely obsolete...

And the Med-Hub being available to starting assault kits will finally breath life into the kit... a rocket grenade and body armor simply isn't enough enticement in BF2.

Recon all the way - hopefully 2142 will be alot of fun and no bugs or glitches
