I have a question. What exactly is the difference between Brazilian Ju Jitsu, and regular Ju Jitsu? In laymans terms if you will, I can't say I know much about Ju Jitsu.

So it was about like this:
There are a lot of Japanese people in Brazil.
There was some Japanese dude who came to Brazil and taught Helio Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
Helio Gracie was a small guy so he adapted his style to be able to defeat bigger and stronger opponents.
That was the birth of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
This Helio-dude had a lot of kids who all learned the stuff(like UFC-legend Royce Gracie,his dozens of brothers and cousins,etc.),some people had an argument with the family and opened up their own schools and now Brazil is the land of BJJ.
If you're about to see a fight of two BJJ-fighters - expect lame cuddling on the ground until one makes a mistake and ends up in a choke or an arm-bar.
