I didn't say I don't like the game.  I love the game.  I play way too bloody much of it.  I'm just saying I reserve the right to complain about an admittedly flawed game.  That's all.  It's certainly not real life, and I'm not sure how I ever implied that it was.  One of the few things it has in common with real life is that I reserve the right to complain there too.

While I entirely agree with the original post, this one seems a little out there.

That's a pretty big IF there.  Are you just assuming that the game runs flawlessly on DICE systems or are you privvy to some information that the rest of us are not?  Personally, I would expect that if the game ran flawlessly for DICE that they would not have spent the last 2 months hammering out the 1.4 patch.

Now that I can agree with.  Plenty of problems which are blamed on the game are actually system issues.  This does not mean the game client does not also have it's own issues.  The 1.3 patch proved to be much more unstable for a large number of people.  To completely chalk this up to poorly maintained or substandard systems would be foolish.

Wouldn't a better way to say what you posted above be: "Yeah the game has it's problems, they are working to fix them.  Systems also have problems which are often blamed on the game client. Deal with these and please stop bitching"

When I bought the game it worked. 1.3 came along and it crashes. I ask Trigger, don't you get a little annoyed when someone tells you that they will do something and time and time again they don't? That is what Dice/EA is doing. It is unacceptable and should not be looked at like, "Oh well they are trying".

This isn't a little league baseball game, it's their job and they are failing at it. Simple as that.

because they probably DID rush to get it out, the orginal game ran pretty well, but since the patches its gotten worse.. because they are in too much of a hurry to get them out instead of taking their time, but onthe flip side its hard to do when ppl demand updates because somethin needs "fixed" plus it makes the game unique lol. "its a BF2 thing, you wouldnt understand"

Its the ranks system. It's the only thing that sets it apart from the other games, and i've NEVER seen as much complaining in a game's fanbase as in BF2.

Does no one else find it kind of funny when you can read the print on a bomb?

profit means money they put in pocket, after they payed off all employees and that kinda shit.

i know what profit means but where did the 40 million number come from???? and that profit money goes right back into the company for new patches etc to pay the developers etc.

I still CTD 90% of the time and 10% of the time server crashes and looses the points I recieved.

Next product I might consider buying from EA is red stapler when they auction off their office supplies after bankruptcy
