What's your point? They had a right to defend themselves from an invasion of their territory. Buying land didn't make immigration any less illegal.

A simple point here Lisik. Jews only bought a tiny fraction of the land of Palestine yet they now occupy 100% of it. I think something is amiss there. And no - buying land does not entitle you to create a country on it. I;m sure the Ottoman empire never envisaged a state of Israel on land that they sold and would never have agreed to sell it if that was the plan.

Yeah Lisik - why didn't ye stay and fight it out with the Romans. Mass suicide on top of Masada is not conducive to beating an enemy.

Edit: Actually that's a cheap shot. I take it back. But still - we Irish put up with 800 years of oppression but stuck it out and now we're free.
