In the game the only gund with bullet drop are the defualt guns like the M24 or SVD
The M95 and the L96 have n bullet drop (i know this cause i play sniper alot)
You're saying that the L9 and the M95 don't have bullet drop? Rofl.
The illusion of bullet drop might be through the cross hairs. The thick cross hair of the M95 makes it a bit problematic to headshot at longer distances so when beginners shoot and miss they think "Hmm my bullet missed. Must be through bullet drop" and when they switch to L96A1 and find long distance shots easier because of the thinner crosshairs they think the L9 has less bullet drop while in reality they all guns have the same bullet drop as stated countless times before. No matter what people say I'm sticking to my M95. Nothing more satisfying of hearing that loud echo of the 12.7mm exiting the barrel and connecting with your target's head. It's enough to give me a boner.

BULLETDROP IS THE SAME FOR ALL WEAPONS IN THE GAME, EXCEPT THE LMG'S
EDIT:LMG's have a bulletvelocity of 500, all other handheld weapons have 1000.
And yours is 21.something. Accuracy means shit.Blade4509 wrote:

Drunkface is right btw.
Im not going to read all 5 pages of this thread, but from what I can tell the M95 has a big fat crosshair making it feel less accurate than the L96, and I get dust off head shots more with it. However, if you do manage to hit something all you need to do is breath on them an they will die. The M95 is by far the easiest way to earn your expert pistol badge and is the preferred weapon of players that TK for aircraft. For long range shot I prefer the precision of the fine crosshairs on the L96.
Usually if I see an M95 sniper waiting for a jet/heli I will kill them just for thinking about it even if I don't plan on using it

I like the M95 because of the big sound it makes when i shooted it.
M24 and SVD are the best sniper rifles imho.
I think so too, but it's all preference, a lot of people prefer the L96 to the M24masculata wrote:

l96a1 on usa and type 88 when on china.
Pretty much the same gun with different crosshairs.H3RB4L ABU53 wrote:

I do, however, always seem to do better with M24, may just be placebo effect
Yes I do better with the M24 as well, just where I'm used to using it all the time I use it cqc and long range.
L96 is more precise though out of the 2, if you was to use them the same amount obviously, I like the sound of the M24 more.
But realisticly, the L96 is the better gun, thinner crosshairs and silent so hardly anyone can know where your shooting from so I sometimes choose it over the SVD when I'm MEC for that reason, pisses me off when I use SVD its such a distinctive sound everyone knows where you're at, prob more so than the M95
