BF2 on the 360 just seems so shit compared to on the PC. GRAW online is quite fun, but still not even close to BF2. GRAW looks nicer on PC anyway.alpinestar wrote:
You guys need to play Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter online on xbox 360 live, I now switched to this game because everyone uses their mic and they play a tactical game, bf2 might be good because of the vehicles and stuff but if you looking for reality in a game that is the game to get on 360 it also includes just about any weapon you can imagine from AK-47 to cornershot + ranking system .
For those that are waiting for ps3 well it will come out when there will be time for the next generation of consoles
so you basically missing out on great fun

MS will be halfway to their next gen console by that time. MS got a big head start this time. Either way competition is good for all.
I have a 360 and obviously a Pc. The benefit of "Tray and Play" are good for consoles but you lose a lot as well. Downloadable content, a much better multi play community. Xbox live has a long way to go, and you have to pay for it... pfft

GRAW looks nicer on PC when you run it on the latest equipment, and no it doesn't run better on PC in multiplayer because no one has a microphone to use with on pc + mouse and keyboard suck for this game.Bertster7 wrote:

Are we forgetting about how many 360s have problems after the release? Along with scratching CDs to the bare meat and stuff like that? Besides, Sony is pushing the bar level again (last time they introduced DVDs) by introducing Blu-Ray so of course its the priciest (PS2 was way more pricier than its rivals back then)Kmarion wrote:

Wii is looking up to be cheap, and will be my pick for one sure buy. I'll spring for a 360 if it gets significantly cheaper in time for halo 3 and hopefully SCDA.
WII WILL ROCK YA(and evryone else)

+1 for you sirFancy_Pollux wrote:
I voted for PC, but the PS3 is very tempting with its real-time weapon changing and attacking weak points for massive damage.
I know for sure that we wi get the PS3 in about three years once the price goes down. You have to be retarded to buy it for that amount of money. I also live in England, so that will obviously reduce the price by loads. [/sarcasm] But the winner overall might be the XBOX360, not the PS3, as it's too pricey. But I guess we'll all find out in a few years time.
for those that stated xbox 360 has problems you call microsoft they send you a new one if you encounter any problems... A++ service
I'm buying the PS3 coz it kicks asses way over the X360. I don't agree that Xbox is better than PS2 like said before. Anyway, the PS3 is the beast and you can't have a PC to even it coz only the nvidia card that carries is more powerful than 2 7800gt together in performance. I also plan to upgrade my pc always coz pc is pc, you can't play BF2 in a console as in the pc.
no i call microsoft and they say not our problem take it back to where i bought it from (where i used to work)alpinestar wrote:

they say you should know the rules we dont exchange 360s call microsoft again, so call and argue with microsoft. they then say send us back you machine with out its box or plugs or cables just the machine on its own.
fine i do this, then they return not fixed because i sent my harddrive with the machine , so take off hard drive resend it comes back and plug it in and doesnt work.
call again it still doesnt work, microsoft say it could be the power pack, i will pass you on to someone who knows what to do, finally getting somewhere
this guy then says send us back you machine with out its box or plugs or cables just the machine on its own.
No its the fucking cable, in the end call old manger at the local GAME store beg for then to change it and in the end they did.
thats microsofts A++ service for you.
PS3 AND upgrade my PC
same with me dude.Shem wrote:

That's not true - it may squeeze more power out of it's GPU. But it's not as good as 1 7900GT, let alone 2.sergeriver wrote:

The RSX is based on the G70 Series and is a lot like a hybrid 7600GT/7900GT
7900GT :
* 450MHz core frequency
* 256-bit memory interface
* 42.2GB/sec. memory bandwidth
7600GT :
* 560 MHz core frequency
* 128-bit memory interface
* 22.4 GB/s. memory bandwidth
RSX ('Reality Simulator') :
* Clocked at 550 MHz
* 128-bit DDR memory interface
* 22.4 GB/s to GDDR3 VRAM
Are you sure you're not getting confused with this quote.
"NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang stated during Sony's pre-show press conference at E3 2005 that the RSX will be more powerful than two GeForce 6800 Ultra video cards combined."
Will be blown away by the G80 series of cards due out this autumn/winter.
Anyone know what I need to buy to change the US voltage to UK? Try justifying $765!But its Six huuuuuuuuuuuundred dollars. Nothing can justify six huuuuuuuundred dollars. And you can't even play games on it for six huuuuuuuuuundred dollars!
Anyway, theres really no point in getting an expensive one. A biggere hard drive and some crappy memeory card slots.. wow.
My PC > xbox360 & PS3 already.
I'm going to buy a Wii though for it's originality in how the games are going to be played now. Not to mention that it'll be connected to the internets 24/7 (assuming it's plugged in all the time). Then there's the ability to play old GC games (which is a great feature for me) AND the ability to download most if not all of Nintendo's games from the Golden years. NES, SNES, the shortly but great lived years of N64, also some games from the TurboGrafix and some games from SEGA. Wewt!
Of course there's the matter of games coming out for the Wii. Red Steel, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Metroid Prime 3 , 'n so much much many more.
I also never forgot this saying. It's how you play the game, not how good it looks.

The actual failure rate for x360's was reported as somewhere around 5%, a number I got from speaking to an actual M$ tech and a number that's been repeated by the media. Even if that's a lowball estimate, the standard failure rate for consumer electronics is 10% (i.e. 10% of all devices sent out there have some sort of issue), which would put x360 still under the average. We heard alot about H/W issues soon after launch because of a very vocal minority and big media exposure on those who reported H/W issues. The kind of people who had the x360's first were, by and large, the enthusiasts who would bitch and whine and make a loud fuss if something didn't work right.Are we forgetting about how many 360s have problems after the release? As for scratching CDs and such I can't speak for all owners but I've never seen anything like that with my x360. I've had the console since January and only ever experienced one crash and no other bugs/issues/glitches/etc. I'm glad Sony has a fancy-pants shiny product they're releasing and I'm happy for whomever wants to get one. I'm perfectly satisfied with my x360 and don't intend to get PS3. I'd rather spend my $600 on something else.
Ps3 really is far to expensive, i invision them doing what microsoft did after they first cut the price of the original xbox. I seen on a site pre orders for ps3, with two games, £550, that my american friends at todays exchange is +$1000.......................
WAAAAAAAY to expensive for my liking, though this was the 60gb version
