Hi,

I am relatively new, and yesterday i was playing, and this person was jumping, diving and proning, jumping and proning repeatedly, and i was unable to hit him.

How does he do this?? is tried staying in prone and jumping but it takes way longer then he took to do it. he does it very quickly.

Can some 1 please tell me how to do this? is there any defined way, what keys do u have to press.

Its called dolphin diving, and is generally looked down upon in the community. Its a cheap (and sadly effective) way to avoid fire. I would recommend that you NOT do it.

He was probably using a macro on his keyboard, so that he could press the commands to stand up, and go prone at a faster pace than it is possible for most humans to do so.

All it is is jumping, proning, jumping proning. Again, I strongly stuggest that you do NOT use this tactic.

what is your prob with dolphin diving??? u say ts looked down upon and stuff but ffs as everyone says "its a game" so who cares......it is harder for them to kill you technically because you cant shoot when jumping....it takes skill to do this properly without macros.....yes skill

I hate all who do that, but it's so satisfying when you kill people who do that. Unfortunatly your accuracy stat goes to Hell 'cause generally you need to empty your magazine at the target, unless you're lucky.

"Prone-Spamming" is generally frowned upon, I say don't even try to learn how to do it. If you don't know how then you won't be tempted to use it in game and piss everyone off. That's what I do, (neglect to learn I mean.)

Oh yeah, as a side note - if anyone ses the "+ plus" clan - they all prone-spam. I think they're an Aussie clan...

fine ill tell him how to do it.

hold downthe ALT key and then press F4, keep pressing F4 to jump/prone spam/dolphin dive, for longer.

So, is it not true that many players do not like the tactic?

I don't believe it takes skill. Skill is killing the enemy in front of you before you need to dolphin dive to avoid his fire.
