Maybe.
I got lucky since and it was confirmed last night: at least sometimes when the server crashes your stats are saved.

I don't know if it's due to a server-side setting and/or how far the game has gone or what but maybe someone with admin experience may be able to shed more light on it for us.

Wrong. Why do you think I started the thread?

This is one of many myths in BF2; I've already tackled a few in Nyte's thread on the WLR, I'll get to a few others soon.

Best I understand it is the server periodically updates to EA. Not sure what the time frame is for that update but you should get some of your stats. Maybe not all but whatever went through on the first update.

The times that I have had server gone down on me, I have never kept the stats that I had prior to the server crashing.  I have even had to get some awards twice because of this.

As I said initially, I got lucky and this was confirmed last night.

Check my stats for this account: Devil's Perch. The server crashed when there were about 70 tickets left for the losing side, and yes, before anyone asks I did check to make sure it wasn't just a problem on my end

Since I knew it was the first time I'd played it I made a point of not playing the map again and checking back periodically to see if it got recorded; sure enough later the same day a win shows up in BFHQ.
