Unless you mean randomly shooting while waiting for the vehicle respawn, then I can see how that would be difficult.
They're both important.
If you have crappy accuracy and high K: D, that probably means your a tank whore or plane whore, but can't fight worth crap as infantry (unless you like to randomly spray ammo, then thats another story). On the other hand if you have high accuracy, and crappy K: D, that probably means your a sniper whore or something and can't really be an effective player.

Most sniper whores have good K/D. Claymores tend to help them out.

Me < sniper. So accuracy is one of the things that I value most.
Higher KDR for recent play comes along with improved accuracy to a certain extent hence I like that it's rising, mostly, but I don't sweat it too much if it's not great (although hopefully above 2 in almost all games).
