BF2S Forums Bf2 doesn't start then it won't install.

Ok so I installed the 1.4 and played bf2 (but I didn't make a back-up, bad me), when 1.4 v2 came out I installed and what happened was the bf2 window came up but it went black for some seconds and then went back to the desktop. So I reinstalled the patch again several times, restarting computer etc. I turn off internet security and firewall has exception to bf2. So I'm 100% sure those aren't the problems. Ok So I read one topic that said clicking the bf2 from the start is the way, not the desktop shortcut. But I read it after I reinstalled bf2 because I thought that was the problem but alas, my bf2 installer disk wont be read and I know its not the disk, but my computer because it works on my other computer. And what's weird is for bf2, I always had to put in my Special Forces disk for it to work because my bf2 vanilla installer disk wont work. So overview is, I uninstalled bf2 and it won't read installer disk.
