"Important Info! – Your unlocks for BF2:SF are only available when playing BF2. You can “take these back” to regular BF2 once you unlock them."

Does that make sense? Seems like there's something wrong with it, but I don't play SF so I don't know where to put a "not" in that sentence to make it make sense.

You can only use the SF unlocks as 'unlocks' in regular bf2 and not SF. In SF the SF weapons are standard rather that unlocks

Go play SF, you will see that the SF unlocks are not usable as unlocks in SF... they are just the standard weapons (for some armies)

AHHHHHHHHHH I see. So basically I should have installed SF right away, so when I rank up I have the choices of SF unlocks too eh?

the additional weapons that come with SF as a whole are only "unlockable" for use in vanilla BF2.

Example: you unlock the F2000, standard Assault weapon for the SAS in SF. This only means that you can now chose the F2000 when playing assault as any army in vanilla BF2. When playing SF, you still can only chose the F2000 if you're actually playing SAS.
