Right I voted for the Ring, although I agree that the Grudge is worse. The reason I find these movies scary is just because of the characters. scary pale skinned, black haired evil people. That sort of thing just freaks the hell out of me and I will not be able to sleep properly, or walk about in the dark for weeks. One other thing which TOTALLY freaks me out is small china dolls.
All the classic horrors such as, the Exorcist, the Shining, the Omen, and a Nightmare on Elm street were scary to me when I was young but they dont do anything for me anymore. They are more just like an action movie for me these days.
Event Horizon does still scare me a bit just because of the noise when you hear the distorted video diary.
What Lies Beneath - never seen but does look good.
Poltergeist - never seen and looks shit
Biodome - is this not a comedy with Pauly Shore ?
