When someone in high-school hates you, what do you say? Do you complain about how much you've done for them and how they're hypocrites?

TO the original poster, a few points;
America didn't save Europe out of the goodness of their hearts, they saved it because if Germany won, America would eventually lose. And because Britain owed them so much money. Which, by the way, they paid back in full last year. Japan attacking was a perfect political coup for Roosevelt. The same situation is around today. Now, this itself isn't evil - attacking countries that threaten your way of life is natural and fully understandable. The problem lies elsewhere.
People don't hate Amercians because they're jealous. People hate Americans because the government tries to rule the world without taking responsibility for it. They tell everyone what to do, bomb them when they don't do it, then walk away when the bad guys show up to take over the countries they've just bombed.
They're like the Roman Empire without the reponsibility. I.E. they bomb the fuck out of somewhere, destroy the government, allow their own companies in to exploit the resources, then fuck off back to the States to find a new place to fuck over. And all the while, some evil fucker takes over the old country and invents a new nation that hates the Yanks. To be honest, it's really fucking stupid on the part of the US, but no one seems to have realised that yet.
In fact, very few people hate Americans. The vast majority of my closest friends come from America, from States as far apart as Texas and Maine. We don't hate Americans at all.
