It was the LOCAL Governments that failed the people of katrina, NOT the Fed Govt. The news wont report that though. I was THERE Helping for a week, based out of Huston and traveling every day to help out. I volenteered to do this out of the kindness of my heart. The Federal Govt hands were tied because of Local politicians Beurocratic stonewalling tactics. New Orleans was Warned almost 5 days before hand to evacuate. ANYONE could have even walkd to safety by then. Being an ex British soldier i have trained with American troops many times and i will say i like the American people.I think the job they have in iraq is a hard task indeed and in my eyes to many American boys have died already:-(. Its ok for other countrys to slag them down but most of them do sweet fa to help
I say go for it America ,the best way to end this is to get all cameras out of the battlefield and let the troops do there job without some do goody lefty shite saying its wrong War is a messy buisness so do not let lions be judged by donkeys.
