I liked Grim Fandango and Monky Island 4 too. But I think they'd been better in the old style. Not lowres like MI1+2 but Point+Click instead of this 3D stuff which I found quite annoying sometimes. 3D Point&Click would be a nice concept.

Super Street Fighter 2 was great and Doom - the original deathmatch (even if it was limited to 4 players).

Single player - The Lucasarts and Sierra adventure games were great!

Sam & Max, Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, Space Quest etc. Oh and Discworld.

They don't make 'em like they used to. Who needs 3D graphics anyway.

How do you make all those games work, from that page. There are loads of old games that I would like to play again. There is something you should do about DosBox or whatever it is....

Well you gotta be Harkonnen - much more fun, and the evil looking mentat just sweetens the deal.

I find Dune 2 too cumbersome to play now though, only select one unit at a time, very frustrating.

loved playing the repton series on the BBC micro/Acorn Electron, still got a nes with mario bros 3, and carmageddon is still great fun to play...and i used to spends hours playing castles...and lemmings...and there are far too many classic games that i love playing...

Yea it is a dos emulator, kinda like nesticle for the nes. it will allow you to play older dos games on newer pc

The first RPG and what got me hoocked on games, read the entire series of books too.

But my all time favourite game was Baldurs Gate.

It had so much to it. So many different things to do and so balanced. BG II was also good but a step below BG.

All of you stop typing now, Baldur's Gate wins. I thought Baldur's Gate 2 was better, but only because of Irenicus and his tree of life thing going on. Plus he was a total badass.

Well, the moonstone stuff freaked me out to no end. You just uncovered childhood memories for me. I have recurring dreams about that game, and now i remeber watching my brother play it whils i must have been 4 or 5.
