Greetings,

I have quite grown very tired of my DigiDoc beeping at me because certain components are "overheating," as i have shelled out a fair amount of cash for my PC, i'd like to keep it from frying after 2 hours of gaming, also i'd like to overclock my cpu. My question is this since i'm new to the whole water cooling business, I'd like to water cool my CPU, Mobo and Graph Card, WHAT IN THE HELL DO I NEED TO ACCOMPLISH THIS?

My System Specs:

ASUS A8N-E Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 Clawhammer 3500+ 2000MHz HT Socket 939 Processor
XFX GeForce 7800 GT 256MB DDR3 DUAL DVI VIVO PCI-E

The Mobo during load (BF2 @ 2 hours of gaming) is 60C, 48 Idle (OUCH)
The CPU during Load is 48C, idle 40C
The Graph card during load is 45C, 38-40Idle

i feel the cpu and graph card temps are fine but wouldn't mine them being cooler but the MOBO is unfuckingacceptable.

HELP?

48 is bit high for a non overclocked chip. but safe..if it was sittin at 55 at load i would start to worry. the thersehold for that chip is about 65 or 70. the x2's etc are lower, 60!

go to xtremesystems.com

or extremeoverclocking

or overclockerscafe.

lots of good articles and tutorials on getting a good water setup on a budget

try to avoid kits. i learned that the hard way. and now im back on air lol

Those are perfectly normal temps.

I've had my Pentium D up to 85*C (peak)(It's at 40*C now thanks to a CPU tube) and it's only supposed to manage 72*C.

dont listen to this guy. my graphics card was idling at 57 and loads at 70. 70 is a bit on the high side, but it was a 7600GS. the threshhold for the core is 125.  after i got watercooling, i got idle at 48 and load at 50. fucking great.

Thermaltake Tide Water  is what i use to cool my graphics card.  its great, but HUGE. it barley fits in my case. my CPU (3800+ OC'd) runs cool to begin with, so i just stuck with the stock cooling on it.
