[a little fun with the word ignorance before I answer]
Ignorance is a strange word. Isn't it wierd that almost every other english word conjugates differently than ignore-ignorance does?
Ignore=To refuse to pay attention to; disregard.
Ignorance=The condition of being uneducated, unaware, or uninformed.
-ance is the "act of" lol ...how did the act of ignoring get to "being unaware"? If someone is ignoring something they are not paying attention so you would call them ignorant but that means they don't know! lmao - anyone else have a better language for me to learn? this one sucks.
If we are talking about God then-
Since we are all in a state of ignorance to some degree perhaps your statement is true.
I think sanity or high intelligence require some balance of ignorance but faith does not. Since God is depicted as all knowing does God not have any beliefs? That would make God the ultimate scientist right? Faith does not equal nor require a state of unawareness or uninformedness, although just coincidentally it may in some cases.
