Definitely. There's two types of people who play BF2. One type is the player who, when he comes across a better player, cries and whines about how something is unfair, be it hacks, glitches, or exploits. The other type is the player who, when faced with the same situation, sees it as a challenge and raises his game. I respect the latter type.spawnofthemist wrote:

a few reasons:
1) a LOT of the best players play on that server.. and the only way for me to improve is to play with the best. (you know who i mean.. dont you.. )
2) SF > BF2 (i've just realised... wow i'm slow)
3) Its always nice to have rounds with people from the forums.

lol your not a hacker your just good. I've played against u before with some of my [SAF] clan mates on sf surge map u killed me a few times but i was safe in the knowledge that when the round finished u had only 9 deaths and 3 of them were by me which made me feel slightly better and not totally useless lol. ppl should just admit they got fragged by a better player and try harder to kill you instead of bitching and accusing everyone of cheatingThomasMorgan wrote:

However, I think my favorite part was when someone switched teams to my side and then tried to ram into me with the Mi-17. He missed, of course, and ended up crashing into the carrier. Twice.
Nothing like owning a three star general, rubbing his face in it, and having him insult you by saying "you have way too much time on your hands to play a game this much". This coming from a three star general, which, mind you, requires 1440 hours of playtime, around 600 more than what I have currently.
Anyway, I didn't make this thread to gloat. Ok, I did, but I think I've done enough of that already. Anyway, here's what I was getting to...

more people view this subforum.. therefore it makes more sense to post here for a greater audience..
plus.. maybe this'll make more nublets buy SF.. meaning higher scores and easier wins for us..

So, we from Europe will have a ping on 200-250 on a US-server with 32pl on a 1/10mbit connection. (just join a server in scandinavia yourself and you see - i can give u some ip's if u are interested)
And there really are more then 2 types of BF2-players out there...
