I've been trying to log on to my bf2 account and have been unable to due to the 'refused connection' problem. I've tried 2 different PC's and still nothing.

guys, this is obviously not an issue with bf2s.com. Moreover, if you can still get access to the internet, but not to your BF2 account, it doesn't seem to be a problem with your ISP either.
It is most likely an issue at the gamespy end of the "supply chain". Gamespy manages the BF2 global player accounts, and login problem are not uncommon.
If this problem continues, I suggest you contact either EA or Gamespy support. Maybe they can help.

From my experience I can tell you though that those login issues usually get resolved within a day or so.
