X-fi Mic Problem

I just bought a x-fi xtreme music sound card prev. had a audigy 2 and my usb 350 logitech headset/mic will no longer work. The headphones work. The mic doesn't. In windows when im testing the mic etc. teamspeak i can hear it....but in BF2 its not working?????

Anyone know how to fix it????

check the settings for the mic in BF2...

USB mics never work w/ XFi sound cards...

Thats what i was thinking it needs the 4 cord into the sound card thing?? Are you sure cyborg??

I checked the settings in bf2 and nothing seems changed...just wont seem to accept the mic.

Prev. the usb was plug and play. When i set up the xtreme it auto reverted to itself and wouldn't auto detect the usb headphones like it did previously.

coz USB headphones have their own intergrated soundcard, get a normal audio jack headphone, then it will take advantage of the XFi

erm, not at all Cyborg_ninja-117. I run a Speedlink Medus 5.1 with XFI-Fatal1ty, and the USB is plugged. No problems at all... Which headset do you own Dingarth...

The Logitech 350......I was going to buy the medusa 5.1 classics in the next couple of weeks for the 5.1ness.

I know the headset has intergrated sound which is why i think i haven't noticed a change to the sound.

already checked Logitech??? I remember there is a FAQ section about XFI and the 350...

change at software x-fi the modus into game modus
i realized that this is the only possibility to play bf2 with extreme high sound^^ (i own this soundcard since 3 months and i realized it one week ago )

Since I updated the driver my mic doesn't work ingame. When I do the test I have to put my sensitivity to 0%, anything else and it won't come through. At 0% it sounds fine in the test but nothing comes out ingame. Any ideas?

Thanks guys I fixed the problem. Some of the settings in windows were still the card. The headphones have their own sound card so it did not work on the settings.

I now look forward to the medusa headphones for 5.1. The logitechs sound the same on my Audigy 2 compared to my xtreme music!
