Similar thing happened to me, but on the chopper side of things. I don't remember what the map was exactly but I had just joined an ongoing game and spawned on the US carrier. I jumped right away into the Black-hawk, waited a few seconds until all the seats were filled and took off... right into the flightpath of an oncoming jet coming in from the north. The wreckage flew up into an oncoming jet flying in from the south and we all came crashing down on the carrier smoking the attack chopper and gunner plus a few other stragglers on deck. Quickest minus score and a boot that I've ever seen.

I'm not proud of that moment but I did deserve that boot and took it like a man
After that I went to their web page and apologized on their forums for the f@ck up

Ive been sniped several times out of a full speed moving jeep by assult rifles. Ill be hiding behind something and I get knifed through the wall. Endless things Ive forgotten as well.

getting killed by grenades ,smoke grenades or flashbangs BEFORE they EXPLODE !

Ive posted this pic before... but it definitely fits here. A Bomber (my buddy, actually) dropped a laser guided missile a foot from my tank, sending it a couple hundred meters into the air, in a nonstop barrel roll. On the way down (too confused to hit eject) I pressed my screenshot button, which Ive mapped to my mouse for just such a reason. This is the result. Then I hit the ground, and exploded a moment later.

Weird.

i got killed by a F-35 when im piloting a J-10 in Wake

I suddenly had a bunch of people running around in purple uniforms.  Every thing but guns and flesh was purple.  Very odd.

I hate it when I did by parachuting oout of a hovering chopper.

The weirdest things happen whenever I'm not payin' attention...so nothing I can remember, BUT.....here's the storie of my friend..running behind me towards some flag in Gulf of O. We both couldn't find a ride so decided to walk/ run in doing so, avoiding the jets bombing just about everything moving on the ground....he we are..running......still running...I hear the plane..he sees the plane..I hear him saying. mumbling something over TS about a falling bomb.....We did reach the flag...alive!! how: the bomb didn't go off...it bounced once or twice...that was it...Imagine for a moment...what I would have heard my friend say for the rest of the game...or at least those few seconds when it happend...I believe he should be submitted..but still that was hte craziest thing that NEVER happend to ME....

Most of the weird stuff that has happened to me has been in planes and helicopters.  I don't know if it's shoddy programming or me just being lucky:

1. Clip wing on an object while flying straight and then proceed to be put into a flat spin which I recover from.
2. Nose down at wrong time and nose dive into the dirt, but instead of exploding, the plane bounces back into the air.
3. Flying along and all the sudden I see a giant red cross and then explode.  Later a friend flying behind me told me that a supply crate spawned directly in front of me and blew me up.
4. The J-10 glitch on the carrier.
5. Flying under the water in an F-18 to -15 feet and then coming back out of the water unscathed.
6. Getting shot out of a Cobra with a pistol!?
7. Watching a UAV land in the street on Karkand.
