BTW: If anyone have seen The Clash live, I dont know what to say, but you gotta be the luckiest person in The Universe!
I had no idea Helloween still played. Keeper of the 7 Keys was a great album!
I saw a Clash cover band once. They actually did a really good job, but yeah, I wish I could've seen them in their heyday.-Solv3r- wrote:

In general I agree with you, but I saw Public Enemy at a small club called The Mad Monk in Wilmington, NC and they rocked...kr@cker wrote:
Ludacris (I realize now that most of these types of rap concerts are a waste of time, you get about 60-90 seconds of each song, can't really get into any one of them before they switch to the next, just a "buy my cd" sampling of them for 40 minutes)
I have seen
P.O.D
Ill NiƱo
Killswitch Engage
Johnny Truant (crap)
Lamb of God
Devil Driver
Bullet for my Valentine
36 Crazyfists
Atreyu
And some others, but I can't remember.
I really want to see Metallica, but they only seem to play at huge festivals, which I can never get to, and cost a shit load to get in.

Becoming The Archetype 2x

With Blood Comes Cleansing 3x
Chasing Victory 3x
Staple
Mortal Treason
Sleeping At last
Aletheian
Anberlin 3x

Gasoline Heart <--*gag*
Showbread 2x
Maylene And The Sons of Disaster
Mercury Radio Theater
The Rocket Summer
The Working Title
With Faith or Flames
DC Talk
The W's
Broken
Scarecrow & Tinmen
I can't think of any more. I've seen a lot... too many to remember. A bunch of these were before I got into metal, so they're kind of crappy. But oh well.
Seeing The Showdown (southern rock/Metal) 4x, Crimson Moonlight (Black Metal), and Becoming the Archetype (really good Metalcore) 2x, makes up for all the crappy bands that I've seen.
Radiohead could have been better but they were still very good. Going to see them again at an outdoor venue in August - should be better (supported by Beck). Dandy Warhols are great - saw them before they were very famous too in a nice small venue. I implore everyone to go and see the Hives - even if you don't like their music particularly their live act will KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF. Every member is completely nuts and the lead singer is such a showman.=Karma-Kills= wrote:

Many of whom I never paid to see, of course. Get a membership at your local college radio station, make a few friends, and you can do the same! Sometimes you have to pretend to want to interview the band, but if you want to see them play, chances are you won't mind interviewing them as well, while you're at it.
Plus...
More local and 2-bit indie bands than I could possibly remember
Many metal or punk bands I saw with friends and promptly forgot about
Many more that nobody need ever know about...
Bought tickets for The Pixies TWICE but got IDed both times and didn't get in

The Offspring, Good Charlotte, Sum 41, Rob Zombie, Trapt. Trapt is the best band to see live. I recommend them alot!
yeah i can see than, I guess i mean the pop kinda rap, that gets played on the radio so much, PE is great, but they're not so commercial anymore, that's usually what happens to rap and country artists with talent, the radio industry sorta shuns themROCKowmCo wrote:

I live near the venue to Northern Europes oldest festival, so I tend to go there every now and then.
This is why the following list contains some bands I'd.. ..well.. ..rather not have seen, but did. Some bands I've seen doing their "own concert", aka not part of a festival.
In no chronological or other order, nor is the list complete, since I can't recall every band I've seen at this minute:
Tool
Soundgarden
Beastie Boys
Bjork
Bon Jovi (This is what I meant in the prologue)
ZZ Top (another example of bands I could have lived without)
Gogol Bordello
Flogging Molly
Danko Jones
Mew
Soilwork
Machine Head
God Forbid
The Rolling Stones
Depeche Mode
Black Sabbath
Soulfly
The Cardigans
The Crash
Backyard Babies
The Pretenders (in '87)
Santana ('89)
Little Feat
Black Crowes
Simple Minds
69 Eyes
HIM
Nightwish
The Rasmus
CMX
The Ark
The Hellacopters
and.. many more!
I regret having missed both Metallica and Nirvana...

Hey Aug. 5 is my birthday!
You simply must hoist a toast to me.
You simply must hoist a toast to me.
U2 (twice)
Underworld! Anyone who listens to them gets a cookie

They took the stage and played nonstop for an hour and a half. They just transitioned from one song to another throwing a couple covers in along the way.xintegrityx wrote:
