I does seem that in most servers I get on, (usually pubs), that I am the only one attempting to cap. Everyone else seems to be hanging round, waiting for a plane/chopper/Tanks/APCs.

And in reference to Sarge X_au's comment, "haha nearly half ur global score is all flag related, have trouble getting points other ways?" If noone on your team caped flags, you would lose. Everytime. Well, if you played on other maps. You know the game came with 12 maps as standard, yeah?

I'm actually surprised here as I sometimes like to play whole rounds in planes and stuff. But I guess it does show that I usually get annoyed when people aren't pushing enough for flags

In other words, I set myself goals based on what I think is best for my team. Usually meaning "sneak round the back to capture important flags and generally annoy the hell out of the other team.

I've even been accused of cheating because I occasionally grey the flags and move to a different CP. Normally when you grey a main base flag, half the enemy team come back to try to "save it" I've moved on, and taken half their team out of the battle. One round I spent going round between the same three flags just getting them to grey (and capping when I thought it was safe). There was a full squad chasing me the whole time and I had some quite narrow escapes, but I kept them out of the battle all game until my team took the other flags. At that point there were three grey flags, all the rest were ours, and this was the only squad left on their team. Admittedly these guys were fairly thick as they didn't seem to realise they had no flags, but all it took at that point was me spotting them and game over.

Not bad for one player.
