Which graphics card would be reasonable for all-on-high settings?

Hey I's like to know which of the current bunch of graphics cards would be enough to play with everything on high + AA, given I'd have everything around good hardware? Cause the ATI 1900XTX seems a bit of an overkill given it's 550 price tag...
Btw I'd prefer ATI if possible, but others are cool too.

i use a 6800 with 3 gigs of ram... all on high with no lag on 32 bit windows i couldnt do this.... on xp 64 it runs like a dream

My current laptop has the mobile X700 and I can't even have everything on medium with the new maps, so I think that's not an option... hmm

I have 1 gig of ram and im gonna buy another 1 or 512 next to it.My card is GeForce 6600 GT and it runs quiet good nearly everything is on medium 2 things are on high.But in summer the cooling from teh VGA is important !

i mean, even a crap card could do high at 800x600, but crank it up to 1280x1024 or 1600x1200 and that card will crap itself

for reference i run my x850xt overclocked to pe @ 1280x1024, all high, max AA, but the two dynamic settings at medium

Same, 2 gb of RAM would push textures and terrain to high.

Oh, and my monitor keeps my resolution down to 1024x768 lol, damn those 8 year old 17" CRT monitors!

Is the card im looking to buy within the next week or so, so im wondering if i could run this on all high setting?
i have a gig of ram(gettin anothe gig also) P4 2.8 and 450 PSU. This is all i can afford ATM because i have more bills than the average gamer. So i dont wanna hear get a 1900xt or 7800-7900GT, im sill on AGP and im not going go conroe nor AM2 until the next two years or so since BF2 is all i play anyways.

I've got a NV 6800GT AGP w/256 and 2GB of RAM. No lag all high and 4x AA. Except in Daqing Oil Fields...for some reason I lag at center base frequently.

I did (since I'm still AGP) have to take my AGP aperature to 256MB in BIOS to make it happen. If you have an AGP board, 6800's are getting pretty cheap (can be found under $175) but like most in the posts, I'd recommend looking at the 7xxx series.
